Our club has been busy to start President Toni Shelton's term.   Highlights include our partnership with Principia High School for a new Interact Club, two Empowering Girls Grants, an approved CAP Grant to benefit the Believe Project, and a hands-on deep dive into our club archives at the Mercantile Library.

Our featured speaker for 10/16 will be Bill DeWitt III from the St. Louis Cardinals.  This program will be RSVP only.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Marshall Galliers by October 9th at mgalliers@aol.com.
Thank you, Toni Shelton, for all your efforts towards the "Let's Bury Larry" state-wide shoe collection efforts!  Your leadership helped us send the below conference room full of shoes to the District FUNvention.  Thanks to Chuck McCloskey for help assembling, and to Charlie and Emily Jernigan for transportation of all these shoes!
 
 
 
Our club was pleased to welcome Jo Soothill and Andrew Hurst of the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly from the bayside of Brisbane, Australia.  Jo and Andrew shared with us about their club's community involvement, fundraising activities, and later participated in a flag exchange.  It was wonderful meeting them.  
 
Our club returned to the Schnucks Crossing on an unusually warm day in December to raise money for the Salvation Army.  Thank you, Dave Powers, for organizing our efforts.  
 
A memorable night for our club at the annual holiday party.  Thank you, Curt Ittner, for planning such a wonderful event.  
 
Our volunteer efforts led by Larry Levy at the annual Scouting for Food drive resulted in a record amount of items collected.  Thank you to all the club members who participated in this project!
 
District Governor Valerie Sorenson joined us for lunch on October 18th to discuss all the great things happening in 6060.  We also collected a few shoes for the ongoing project to collect 20,000 pairs of shoes to help "Bury Larry (In a Good Way)."
 
Congratulations to past-President Marshall Galliers on his recent accomplishment of reaching a Paul Harris Fellowship plus 8.  Thank you for your service, leadership, and contributions, Marshall!
 
Great night at Top Golf in Chesterfield!  Congratulations to Team Toni Shelton for their win on the evening.  Thank you to Toni and Bob Staniforth for their sponsorship of the event.
