The charitable giving committee recently approved a $1,000 contribution to the St. Louis Community Foundation's Gateway Resilience Fund in addition to other worthy organizations.

The Rotary Club of Clayton-Ladue has a history of providing timely and meaningful contributions to various organizations across the St. Louis region dating back many decades.  The past four months have presented us with unprecedented challenges, the likes of which were last seen with the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1917-1918, which was before our existence.

In addition to providing support to the St. Louis Community Foundation's response fund, we also received a request for assistance towards food supply for mothers and children.  The Charitable Giving Committee viewed the request towards supporting food needs favorably and forwarded it to the Club’s Board of Directors for approval.

The hearts of the men and women of the Rotary go out to those for whom food has critical importance these days. The Rotarians were informed about the works of the Circle of Concern over the years and therefore the Board was very happy to support their efforts with this donation.
