District Governor Valerie Sorenson joined us for lunch on October 18th to discuss all the great things happening in 6060. We also collected a few shoes for the ongoing project to collect 20,000 pairs of shoes to help "Bury Larry (In a Good Way)."
Valerie and her husband, Mike, both presented to our club on the latest news and happenings in Rotary District 6060. We heard about membership, special projects, District and Rotary International initiatives, and the upcoming District Assemblies taking place in Sikeston and Wentzville, MO.

The shoe collection project will culminate at the "Funvention" over the District Conference weekend in the Ozarks at Osage Beach April 19th and 20th, Thank you, Valerie and Mike, for making time to spend with us.
